Renew...rejuvenate...restart...

These are the words entering my mind right now. This past year of school and work has completely trampled down my creativity. No photography for a year! No art! Nothing. I feel like I've lost the touch...and it seems impossible to get it back! But starting today I will begin again, even if it means TERRIBLE work at first. My brain has muscle memory, I KNOW it, and I'll MAKE it kick back into action! Here we go, day one starts tomorrow, 7/25/2011. A piece of artwork a day. Whether a picture, and sketch, a poem...an idea. Here goes. Wish me luck!

What's better than a blanket, a fire, some food, a huge starry sky and your best friends? Almost nothing, although having it captured on film makes it a little better. And if by film you think a crappy cell phone camera, then you're right. But I'm happy with it...it almost reaches Polaroid status with the grain and faded colors.

December in Waukesha

Well, we've finally had our first snow here in Wisconsin! About three inches, although the cars and people have already started to ruin it. Waking up to snow this morning was so beautiful :)

December is here and with it came thoughts of Christmas, hot chocolate, and snowmen! 3 weeks till Christmas, this is my favorite season of the year!

Snapshots

Being away and at school, I feel as if all the spare time has been sucked out of my days. I'm going to try and get back into the habit of enjoying my camera...

There are some things that just really make me indescribably happy, and Autumn is one of them. The smell of a Pumpkin Spice Latte or delicious spice Chai comes immediately to mind, along with the brilliant colors of the leaves. It is one of my favorite times of the year, and I just sucked it all up this year :) Unfortunately, Autumn is all over now (at least here in Wisconsin it is), but I did not have one spare second to put these pictures to use. And so here you are, a breath of fresh fall air just in time for the first real snow tonight ;)

Quick update!

I just wanted to post a quick update on my life. I'm a little busy right now, moving to wisconsin for college at New Tribes Bible Institute! Hopefully once I get settled in, I'll have more time for photography :)

Cuteness Overload!

I just went on a family photoshoot with the Incinelli family yesterday, and I'm already so excited about how the pictures are going to turn out! Isabel and Isaac are just about the cutest things in the world. :) Here's a sneak peek, there are many more to come!
